About the event

Difficulty Rating: EASY/MODERATE

For this adventure, we will be exploring a popular waterfall in the Angeles National Forest: Switzer Falls. Switzer Falls is a beautiful trail tucked into the San Gabriels, with shaded canyon walls, running water, and a gorgeous waterfall at the end—a perfect way to celebrate Earth Day surrounded by nature’s magic. It’s still beginner-friendly, just as scenic, and we’re really excited for this switch!

This trail is an 3.6-mile "out-and-back" with roughly 685 feet of elevation gain. It is rated EASY/MODERATE. There are no reliable water sources on this trail, so please plan on carrying a half-day supply of water with you.

Way Out Wild Difficulty Ratings
