About the event

Join us for a three-day backcountry adventure through the stunning Ansel Adams Wilderness, where glacier-carved lakes, jagged granite peaks, and wildflower-filled meadows define the landscape. This high-elevation route takes us through some of the most scenic terrain in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, following the Rush Creek to Gem, Thousand Island, and Garnet Lake Loop.

Immerse yourself in the remote beauty of the John Muir Wilderness, camp beside mirror-like alpine lakes, and take in views of the iconic Banner Peak and Mount Ritter, two of the most photographed mountains in the High Sierra.
