Our Story
Way Out Wild began with a quiet transformation. It started when one woman discovered the outdoors and realized it was changing her from the inside out. Hiking through wild places helped her see just how strong, courageous, and capable she really was. It gave her clarity, confidence, and a kind of power she hadn’t felt before.
She began inviting friends to join her. And every time, the same thing happened. These women—many of whom had never camped, climbed, or even hiked—found something in themselves they didn’t know was there. They felt bold. They felt free. They felt alive.
That’s when it became clear. Women need this. Not just as a hobby, but as a path back to themselves.
In a world where boys are often encouraged to take risks, explore the unknown, and trust their strength, girls are too often told to stay small and play it safe. Way Out Wild was created to shift that narrative. It’s a space for women to reconnect with their inner power through the outdoors.
Today, Way Out Wild is a growing movement. Through hikes, backpacking trips, and outdoor education, women of all backgrounds are stepping into nature and discovering what they’re made of. The goal isn’t just to get to the summit. It’s to rise together.
