About the event

Difficulty Rating: MODERATE

For this adventure, we’re heading out to Josephine Peak. It’s a steady, moderate climb along a fire road with sweeping views of the Angeles National Forest unfolding as you gain elevation. The trail wraps around the mountain, offering stunning perspectives of Strawberry Peak, the front range, and the canyon far below. At the summit, you’re greeted with wide-open, panoramic views that stretch across the San Gabriels and beyond—one of the best payoff vistas in the area. This is a great hike for those building strength, wanting a solid workout, or looking to level up into longer, more rewarding mountain climbs.
