About the event

Difficulty Rating: HARD

This hike is part of the Big Mountain Series: Six-Pack of Peaks — Way Out Wild Edition

For this adventure, we’re heading up Mount Wilson via Little Santa Anita Canyon. This classic San Gabriel Mountains route starts deep in a shaded canyon, following a creek-side trail that quickly transitions into a steady and sustained climb. The terrain is varied and beautiful, moving from lush, cool canyon sections into steeper, more exposed grades as you gain elevation with very few true breaks along the way.

It’s a challenging and rewarding ascent that builds endurance, focus, and real mountain strength. Reaching the summit marks the 2nd peak of our Wild Peak Series - Six Pack of Peaks, ideal for hikers ready to push themselves and continue building serious mountain strength.
