About the event

Difficulty Rating: HARD

For this adventure, we will be partially summiting the 3rd highest peak in Southern California. This hike will give you a taste of the towering Mt Baldy. With almost 2000 feet of climbing, it's a tough yet popular hike, and well worth the effort. You can see the old San Antonio Ski Hut at the top and some views of the mountains and valley below.

This trail is an 4.8-mile "out and back" with roughly 2000 feet of elevation gain. It is rated HARD. This is a good test to see how you will fair on high elevation hikes. This is also a good training hike in preparation for any big mountain hikes. We will be taking this hike slow with frequent breaks but if you are not ready or prepared to attempt this hike, we will ask you to turn around.
