This hike is part of the Big Mountain Series: Six-Pack of Peaks — Way Out Wild Edition
For this adventure, we’re heading out to Sitton Peak via the Sitton Peak Truck Trail. This is a hard, sustained climb that gains elevation steadily as it winds through open chaparral and rugged terrain in the Santa Ana Mountains. The trail is exposed in sections and demands endurance, making it a true test of strength and mental grit. Reaching the summit marks the official start of our "Big Mountain Series: Six-Pack of Peaks — Way Out Wild Edition", setting the tone for the challenges ahead. This hike is best suited for experienced hikers ready to push themselves, build resilience, and step confidently into big mountain territory.
