About the event

Get ready for an epic women’s-only camping trip to Death Valley National Park. This park is home to some of the most stunning and extreme landscapes in the world. From sweeping sand dunes to deep canyons and colorful rock formations, this adventure will take you through one of the most unique and awe-inspiring national parks in the country.

Who Is This Trip For?

This trip is beginner-friendly, but participants should be prepared for desert hiking conditions, including warm days and cooler nights. No prior camping or hiking experience is needed. Just come willing to explore!


Way Out Wild Difficulty Rating

This activity is rated EASY. What does that mean? Suitable for anyone who enjoys walking. Mostly level or with slight incline. Generally less than 5 miles.


Gear & Packing Info

  • You’ll need to bring your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad).

  • A packing list will be provided after registration.

  • Don’t have gear? We can help connect you with affordable rental options.


Getting There

Carpool options are NOT available at this time but we encourage you to reach out to other participants in our Whatsapp group chat to coordinate carpool.


Safety Information

Our guides have the following certifications:

  • Wilderness Medecine

  • CPR/AED

  • Food Handlers Safety

  • Campfire Safety


Safety is always our top priority. A signed liability waiver is required to attend this trip.


Registration

Registration closes 1 month before the trip start date or when spots sell out—whichever comes first. This deadline helps us confirm campsites, permits, food, and logistics for the group.


Early registration is highly encouraged to secure your spot.


Cost

We’re committed to keeping our adventures as accessible as we can, even as the cost of running high-quality trips continues to rise. This price supports our guides, food, permits, planning, and the growth of our nonprofit programs.


Payment plans are available to support our community.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Full refunds available up to two weeks before the trip. After that, no refunds will be issued. If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, reach out and we will try to accommodate ticket transfers.

  • If the organizer cancels, you will receive a full refund.

  • Weather does not automatically result in trip cancellation. Participants will be notified of any changes.
