About the event

Difficulty Rating: MODERATE

For this adventure, we’re heading out to Brown Mountain Dam Waterfall. This is a beautiful out-and-back trail that follows a shaded canyon with a steady, moderate climb that feels approachable for most hikers. The route winds along the creek, passing through lush greenery and sections of historic ruins that give the area its unique character. The hike ends at the Brown Mountain Dam, where water spills over the old structure to create a large waterfall tucked into the canyon. It’s a great outing for those wanting a moderate hike with plenty of scenery, cool canyon air, and a rewarding destination at the end.
