About the event

Difficulty Rating: EASY

For this adventure, we're heading out to the falls in Placerita Canyon, a shaded oak woodland tucked into the hills above Santa Clarita. This is a easy, refreshing hike that follows Placerita Creek through cool groves of oak and sycamore, with the dappled shade making it one of the more comfortable trails in our lineup on a warm day. The path winds gently up the canyon before a rockier final stretch leads you to a quiet seasonal waterfall, a little cascade that's at its most magical after a good rain. It's a great outing for Wild Sisters who want a longer walk without a brutal climb, anyone who loves a forest feel close to the city, and folks chasing the simple joy of a hidden waterfall at the end of the trail.
